The A.L.M. Scholarship Program was established in 2000 to award financial assistance to the children of employees at the A.L.M. Family of Companies. Since it’s inception, over 200 students have received financial assistance through the Building Futures Scholarship Program.

The A.L.M. Scholarship Program awards college students who have a parent, step-parent, or legal guardian who has been employed by the Company for a minimum of three years prior to the application deadline (May 15th).

Please note: only one child per family is eligible to receive this scholarship at a time.
Grandchildren of employees are not eligible for this scholarship program unless the grandparent is the legal guardian of the applicant.
No, this scholarship is not eligible for graduate school programs.
The program offers two scholarship options:
4-Year Bachelor’s Degree Program
2-Year Associate’s Degree Program
The scholarship will be granted to students who exhibit strong work ethic, leadership, school/community involvement, academic achievement, and who demonstrate future educational, personal and career goals.
Applications are reviewed by an independent scholarship committee based on the selection criteria established by the A.L.M. Scholarship Program, without interference from the company or any employee.
The number of scholarships awarded each year is based on a percentage of total applications received and money available.
All students interested in applying for the A.L.M. Scholarship Program must complete the two-part application process prior to May 15th to be considered.

Part Two: After submitting the questionnaire, applicants will receive an email confirmation and instructions on how to submit the following documents to complete their application:
Students must submit their application between March 15th – May 15th each year to be considered.
Award recipients are announced by June 30th.
Once awarded the scholarship, checks are endorsed to and typically distributed directly to your school by August 15th.
